Welcome to Our Class Blog!

I teach at Ferndale Middle School, an Middle Years Programme International Baccalaureate school.  For our first quarter IB unit project we are learning about immigrants and what defines home for people new to a country.  The assignment for my English as a Second Language students was to think of places that an immigrant new to our area may need or be interested in.  They have thought up some terrific places, everything from grocery stores to minor league baseball games.  We hope you enjoy our blog!
